This cherry-picked National Trust site is home to the second oldest lock on the River Thames! Draped in history and stunning scenery, this is the perfect treasure trove to come canoeing, whether you’re bringing your little munchkins or relishing your retirement. This relaxed river is ideal for the whole gang regardless of your experience – you can even bring your pet pooch along for the adventure!
Spoilt with riverbanks overflowing in history, step back in time as you spot genuine artefacts used to help defend Britain in World War II, including the river itself which would have stopped tanks in their tracks!
With a boatload of local wildlife on offer, fill your boots with some bird, insect or fish spotting on your journey! There’s so much life making a home on this river, you’ll be wanting to join us for a paddle all year round!
