The River Stour in Christchurch is an incredibly slow-moving river which means it’s great for the first-time paddler, or families looking to explore with the little-uns!

Bustling with bird and wildlife, as well as being peppered with interesting historical facts, you’ll set out from Tuckton Bridge; built in 1883, and depending on the ability of the group you can paddle all the way to Iford Bridge.

With something exciting to see around every river bend, exploring this SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) is something you won’t be forgetting in a hurry.
