The New Forest

Prices from

£34 per person

The New Forest, despite what the name leads you to believe, is over a whopping 1000 years old! This ancient heath and woodland, turned royal hunting ground, turned National Park, is a must-see for adventurers of all ages. This National Park has fur friends galore with deer, ponies, donkeys and cattle roaming free (even little piggies in the Autumn!) enjoying all the grub nature has to offer.

The only privately owned river in the UK, the Beaulieu River, is situated in the heart of one of the many villages that make up The New Forest. Boasting calm waters all year round that are perfect for newbie paddlers looking for their first taste in a canoe.

You won’t just be winning with wildlife on land, but take to the water with us to wonder at the creatures who gravitate towards the riverbanks, including kingfishers, jellyfish, and if you get lucky, a cheeky spot of Beaulieu River’s resident seal who’ll have you “Oooo-ing” and “Awww-ing” while you frantically fumble for the camera!

For a river trip like no other, the New Forest really is our top pick!

Our paddling experiences in The New Forest are delivered by our friends at Liquid Logistics Canoeing & Kayaking and New Forest Activities.
